My former mother-in-law was a nurse in a cancer ward. One night she was working at the floor desk and she saw an old man walk out of a room and down the hall. She knew the man as a patient on the floor so she ran after him. The man just sort of faded away as she got close, then she check in his room and the man had passed away.
